- Monopoly not soled based on excellent product but outstanding distribution (cannot work without latter)
- Product has to be sold: complex sales (CEO led for B2B) and marketing & advertising (consumer goods)
- Power law for distribution: try many but one will work, slow expansion into different channels
- Brand positioning for investors and PR
