- Habits do not restrict freedom.
(c) 4 steps of habit formation:
- Cue (Information that predicts reward)
- Crave (for state change; not performing habit)
- Respond
- Reward
(d) "Become the designer of your world, not a consumer."
- "Best way to build new habits is to join a culture where your desired behavior is normal behavior."
(e) "Missing once is an accident, missing twice is the start of a new habit."
(f) "Play the game where odds are in your favor"
- Genes can predispose but don't pre determine
- Genes influence area of opportunity but don't influence destiny
